Sunsetting is good but not on raid weapons and menagerie weapons.

I have no idea why you think menagerie weapons of all things should be exempt, that is weird. In addition, what you are asking is implemented (at least partially).

Weapons and armor from Last Wish and Garden of Salvation are being granted at least temporary reprieve from sunsetting, as they are updated to season of arrivals levels, as are armor from all other raids. TWAB 6/18/2020

There's 3 or 4 good weapons that can be farmed in the Menagerie, and so far only Beloved doesn't have an equally good or better replacement, not counting Revoker. So what's the problem?

Edit - and anyone who isn't tired of getting sniped by Beloved in Crucible is a masochist.

How is it good? Sunsetting just doesn't allow you to use favorite weapons in casual PVE, but keeps PVP and Raid meta without a single change. They just rob you of fun to use weapons, forcing you to grind for new crap they spend too much time reskinning.

you have 2 options
1. git gud with exotic weapon
2. found new weapon for next 3 seasons

sunsetting is good because finally game force you to use something new

You know, I would've agreed that sunsetting was good until a couple of days ago when I got a god rolled Right Side of Wrong. I was pretty hyped, as I'd used the gun quite a bit back in the day with a meh roll, only to realize that the gun would be useless in a couple of months. I put it in my vault but I'll probably just delete it.

The weapons from Last Wish and Garden will be good to use until Season 14 or 15 and all Raid armor will be usable until the same season.
