The majority of live service games are failing at the moment which also doesnt help. Heck the new Suicide Squad game is horrible.
The gameplay is amazing, updates and new content keep coming, but some people I guess just need hobbies.
I am beginning to think that coming to this forum is a bad idea. The people who post baseless hate on the game will drag you down to their level and beat you down with their experience in that if you try to disagree with them. I really enjoy the game, even though there are some things I don't like, but after spending time here I found I played less. I need to keep reminding myself, those people don't speak for me, better yet I may start avoiding the forum.
ironic
Yes, eventually. This game as 1 year left to live. After final shape, do not expect anything else to be updated for Destiny 2.
People always talk out their ass when discussion how this game will "go on forever" but in reality, it is actually dead in a year due to them probably dropping the product after final shape.
Do not waste your money unless you've already committed to most(80%) of the story already and you want to see the ending. That's it.
LOL
3 episodes post TFS, a new Game Director (when TFS is already finished) suggests there are many years ahead for Destiny.
As or the future, it's up in the air. For the amount of content they've shown post-FS, it's not looking like they're trying to keep long-time players around. You can say that D2 is the best game for its kind, but that isn't saying much. The numbers on steamcharts.com don't lie. So you can either move on to better games and watch from the sidelines to see if the game improves or you can continually get disappointed by their decisions with the franchise.
OP, Destiny is showing no real signs of ending, but it has been doing better in the past and we're approaching the end of a narrative arc. This wouldn't be an impossible place for it to end, but I don't actually think it will, this time around.
The numbers of steamcharts do lie. Add the same number for PS, ad like half on xbox and add a third I'd say on Epic. You will get around 75-90k concurrent players daily. How is there no content after The Final Shape? They literally teased it. 3 episodes bigger than the seasons we got now.
The amount of people that have 1k, 3k 4k hours in this game, they no-life'd it for 7 years, they got burned out because they have nothing interesting going on in their lives, now mock the newer players, those who ask about the game, those who are still playing or those who want to start playing it now and want it to fail because they hate Bungie is insane. Some are just clown farmers. Also they are tilted and mad the game is still going.
What point are you trying to make here, exactly?
