That's crazy... it could take a few HUNDRED hours to grind XP to get a +20 to +25 boost from the seasonal artifact... let alone +39. I myself have finally reached >1830 or so (for my heavily-played seasons, like Witch and Seraph, I usually end up at +25 ish). I took a lot of breaks this season.
Also, it really doesn't matter... get to +20 to get the associated seasonal triumph, but you're pretty much set at +5. No joke. The harder difficulties cap you at 1815 power level or so.
1810 is the pinnacle cap until Final Shape. Anything beyond that is the artifact level. Have fun grinding bounties!
Only paid for one expansion and not single a season. Bit of upsat about.
When you see crazy high numbers like that, that player did AFK farming in either a specific shadowkeep mission, or the golgerath maze in Kings Fall.
And yes its pointless. For them its just "big number = cool"
there is this certain guy, im not going to name him for obvious reasons, you can mostly find him on nessus at the public event flag of artifacts edge.
he is mostly on his warlock, just standing there, casting his healing well from time to time to not get killed. he used to be on his titan back in the day, casting his barricade.
acting like a bot this pissed me off really, as i detest people using this kind of ♥♥♥♥ to get an "advantage"
i managed to get him killed a couple of times, unfortunatly, there are always the good hearted people that went over to revive him, only to realise they basicly revived a bot. some of them then tried to get him killed also, and sometimes they did.
why am i saying all this? well, at one point, before they took it off the name tag, this guy was sitting on season level 1200+ wich meant he was doing it all day, every day.
sad really, but hey, i havent seen him in a couple of weeks, and really hope i dont see him again.
That means people gaming the XP system like that are basically sabotaging the Eververse economy, since BD engrams have a small chance to reward quite a few bright dust. The more engrams one earns, the more dust they could get.
So...you saw a guy not doing anything to bother you and decided to grief him? Mature.
