Wishender bug

Decided to get an old exotic quest done on my warlock which was at a point when I had to kill 3 bosses and purify the mementos. Got to the statue after killed the boss I see all 3 mementos in the plate front of the statue but it still says it requires purified mementos. Im at steps 3 out of 4 requiring me to present the purified mementos but it doesnt let me. I did some reading and I do have a thingie in the kinetic slot on my hunter which did confuse me when I got it but not on the warlock but now I see that an updated version of the original. Question is what do I do on my warlock which appears to have the bugged quest. Do I delete it reacquire the new one? Do I have to fight trough the dungeon again? Do I just drop into the dungeon at the statue where I have my last save?

You need to have the kinetic "exotic" quest item on the character that you are completing the quest with, so if you completed it on your warlock, and you had it on your hunter...then it won't work

Go to petra if I recall correctly to acquire it

On my hunter I have the kinetic version and I just have to present it. Wouldnt the game recognize it was done on the warlock as well and after I delete the old version it would get me the same as its on the Hunter? Also as on the hunter I just have to present it could I just hold the save while someone joins then I go out to change to the hunter and get back to the save?

You complete the quest with the character holding the item, simple as that, because after that you'll be able to pull from collections on any character

Edit: and by completing, I mean all the steps

Even if you "cleansed" the artifact on your warlock, but the item was on your hunter, it wasn't actually cleansed because the warlock didn't go through the dungeon

how do you kill these "3 bosses" and most important who are that “3 bosses”? I was actually not able to find out what Bungie is speaking abound in this “mementos” quest. I was in the dungeon, killed 12 “bosses” but nothing happened. So, could you give me a hint how to go to "that" place where these "3 bosses" wait to be killed?

Actually like I said I did the quest to the statue with both. First with the hunter back in the days then with the warlock just now. The difference is that I deleted the ques from my hunter after I didnt get the bow and when the new version came out I picked it from Petra on the hunter. Interestingly as I was doing the old type of quest the steps on my warlock just now it did advance on my hunter as well and now I hold the quest at the same point when I just have to present it to the statue. IMA just going to find someone with a CP there and jump in with my hunter as for sure I cant stand that dungeon for another minute.

Update: Just by pure luck there was someone looking for a CP at the statue. I joined in took him there then after he befriended me I switched from my warlock that had the CP saved to my hunter. Got the bow tho I never did one step with the hunter after I picked up the updated quest every single step was done with my warlock running the old quest which didnt let me pick up the bow on the end.
