That said, if you're looking for a power space fantasy and are okay with the grind and ever changing meta, it's a solid choice.
Why ask us, how are we to know if you will enjoy it or not?
Non seasonal content has not been removed in a while.
Some post deserve no better than being removed, you can criticize and express your opinion without getting out of line, some either have not caught onto that or don't care.
Edit: Thanks for the Steam points LOL
If I suggest no one play WoW, what does that even mean, other than I don't want to play it. None of us can give anything but our options. What has changed recently to make this game significantly different than it was?
As to your response, who are we to determine what value other places on something, to you it may be a lot, to another it may not be.
I concur, i find this game very dull and boring now, each season is effectively the same with a little minor story, which if there was no timegating that prevents you from doing it all, you would find out that the story is at most 3hrs long and the price tag is insulting to say the least.
Many reasons why but the core of it is that the game no longer respects my time.
Let's just think for a second. 3k Hours. How many other games could you reach that amount of time in before getting tired? I'd say D2 is in the upper echelons for how long it can be enjoyed, but no game is forever. Perhaps the game is less fun, because you have played it for what I assume is years?
I wonder if you actually read what I said or just stopped at the first line. Also, the majority of the playerbase is long term players because the new player experience is one of the worst out there.
Is the games less fun? Yes, but not due to time invested. Its due to the game itself slowly over time becoming less and less rewarding. Why play a game that does not even respect its own players? Why play a game from a developer that has made it perfectly clear over the last year they dont even care about their own product?
If you have friends that still play, sure play while you're talking on Discord or something but other than that, progress will just be progress and nothing useful until the devs figure out what the heck they want to actually do with Destiny.
