Best Glaives and other questions?
I have been running a Warlock build with exotic gloves (forget the name) that Regens health after every melee kill.

Glaives count in triggering this effect and it's an awesome survivability increase for Warlock in PvP. My questions are as follows:

1. What are 2 or 3 or the best non-exotic glaives in the game?
2. Are there Strand or Kinetic glaives yet (doubt there will ever be kinetic, still)?
3. Are there any non-exotic stasis glaives?

https://www.light.gg/db/category/1?page=1&f=10%28glaive%29%2C2 paste the link manually if it shows all weapons

Not using glaives much, take my opinion with a grain of salt. They are pretty much the same.

Enigma is probably the best glaive because you can craft it easily and it has both Impulse Amplifier and Unstoppable Force. Trials glaive has better stats, but it's harder to get.

There's only one rapid-fire and two aggressive non-exotic glaives. Greasy Luck from GotD dungeon, Judgment of Kelgorath from Xur/Banshee/Seraph's Shield exotic mission and Albedo Wing from Dawning event.

All glaives kill in 2 shots, but Rapid-Fire can do it a bit faster than others, the downside is you can't kill with 1 shot-1 melee (106+67), it requires DMG buff like Unstoppable to do that (sub 60-70 RES). Adaptive can kill sub 90 RES and Aggressive can kill any RES, but they are a bit slower.

Judgment has Surrounded and can kill in one shot with it, but that's probably the only advantage it has over other glaives. Albedo would need two kills with Tricorn for that.

Thank you. Right now I am using Judgement of Kelogorath because it's simply the best glaive I have.

I am looking for a non-exotic glaive that can take the primary weapon slot because I want to have my special weapon slot open for exotics.

But, it doesn't seem like they have a legendary Strand (or any Strand) glaive or legendary Stasis Glaive yet.

Unless I am wrong.

There's no strand/ kinetic/ stasis (except for heavy exotic) glaive.
You can apply Glaives filter on light.gg to check all of them or paste the link above manually, it shows all weapons when redirected from steam.

The Enigma should be available for all players after the 1st WQ campaign mission. It's part of the crafting tutorial

I got the Enigma and loved it because I run void Warlock.

But, Judgement of Kelgorath does more damage and has a significant range advantage.

Ok, so I missed the part when glaives dmg was nerfed this season, Massive Breakdown didn't update it either, you need enhanced surrounded + any 10% dmg buff now, so that video is a bit outdated.

Decreased projectile damage in PvP.
Aggressives: 123
Adaptives: 113
Rapid-Fires: 101

You need 1 shot + 2 melee hits now. They also increased projectile speed and it's up to you to decide whether you still need Impulse (IA), but Judgement can't roll both IA and Unstoppable at the same time, so it won't kill 50 RES or higher with shot+melee combo without a buff. Adaptives still can do that with Unstoppable and most get IA as well. Range affects projectile velocity, lower range+IA might be better than just high range without IA. As I said, glaives are pretty much the same with similar perk pools and there're only 8 legendaries + 2 adept versions.

Surrounded has 8m range and lasts 1.5s, you can wreck as much chaos with a simple shotgun or by being a synthoceps titan, but you rely on your opponents' mistakes in which case you might as well use anything.

First of all - wall of text - tldr at bottom

Best glaives IMO are - the haunted (forgot name), seraph (Judgement of Kelgorath) season's, the Defiance Ritual glaive, Lubraes ruin, Vexcalibur (hot take) and Winterbite.

Enigma is decent. It has some good rolls. Don't fall into the trap of putting enhanced Unrelenting on it thinking you can have a budget Karnsteins but on different classes like I did. It can have Impulse amplifier for PVP though.

Season of Defiance's Ritual glaive was pretty good. It has destabilising rounds which makes it a pretty good addclear glaive. It is also extremely easy to get if you have spare golfballs lying around. The destabilising rounds synergises perfectly with warlock in my experience, as you can use devour with it well.

Lubrae's rolls with Unstoppable force and Immovable Object which makes it a good perk combo for leftclicking, melee-ing, and tanking fire from enemies.

The seraph glaive rolls with Close to Melee and Overflow for the CURATED roll, which i find really good. It's literally free (no dlc) iirc as you can complete one of the legacy story missions to get this roll.

The Haunted glaive rolls with some good perks too. I have a crafted one with over 1k kills which i use but i forgot the roll as i have a lot of them.

Vexcalibur is a craftable exotic (woohoo) and it gives a void overshield on block. It is a generally good support glaive and is good for melee too. It synergises best with bastion / controlled demolition void titan in my experience, but it is also good with running synthoceps and wormgods on solar or arc, like Winterbite

Winterbite is good as it does very good damage and absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥ adds and majors up with wormgods or synthoceps.

I've been using it and glaives in general with Arc titan + Insurmountable Skullfort and it's really fun meleeing everyone with near to infinite abilities.

Keep in mind Winterbite is a heavy, so you won't be able to use the projectile often, but the melee is a beast.

Honestly, glaives aint the best for Warlock. I'd rather use something like Forbearance or a fusion rifle for a special, but it's your own choice. The one good setup i did use for warlock was, strangely enough, double special using the defiance glaive and riptide Fusion rifle with void warlock. It was surprisingly fun for no particular reason.

TL:DR:
enigma good for new players.
Defiance ritual glaive good for void warlock.
Lubrae's Ruin good if you have it - jack of all trades; master of none
Seraph and haunted glaives are good for general play.
Winterbite and vexcalibur especially good for titan.

Sorry if i made any naming / dumb spelling mistakes in this comment. I'm really tired. Hope this helps and good luck Guardian

Thank you, since I got the Karnstein gloves (warlock) I've been running glaive with my warlock because he feels near immortal in PvE.

Without the exotic gloves, I agree glaive wouldn't pair well with Warlock.
