Steam DLC on Epic?

I goofed around with Destiny 2 on Steam a year ago during a free week but never bought anything. Fast forward to Epic giving away a package of Destiny 2 stuff and I've played through the entire Beyond Light campaign and am ready to pay some money for the new expansion.

So, can I buy it here on sale and play it all together? Sorry if this is a silly question...

No each platform is licence specific. You will only have access to DLC you buy on each platform. If you want it on steam you will need to buy it all on steam, same with other platforms

You can buy it here, link the accounts with Epic the main one and all your progress and gear will be available on both. But you would not be able to access the content that requires those expansion here without also buying that here.

got destiny 2 and all its dlc/additions for free on epic. have not played it yet though. Hear a lot of bad things about the game but free is free

That is three expansions, not all. It doesn't have the dungeon key for Witch Queen, doesn't have Lightfall expansion, doesn't have the Forsaken pack or 30th Anniversary pack. I think the game is very good, just not a big fan of Lightfall.

I heard the same, but the game is damn fun. I haven't paid a cent and finished one DLC. Guess Witch Queen is next since it was free too!
