Whats the easiest way to get Essence of dawning?

I havent played the Dawning seasonal in a few years so I dont know. Google is ok but I am usually a solo player and I dont have friends to play with online. I dont own the Lightfall DLC either so a few of the videos I seen were saying go to easy access lost sectors exit at the end but it looks like you need the grapple to get to those exits. Im sure I could maybe use max mobility on Titan with an exotic but I havent tried it yet.

How much do you get from Strikes? Is that worth the farm?

I've found running legend lost sectors to be pretty rewarding as they give 19-20 essence per run as well as enhancement cores + prisms and some world loot. Though it'd be faster to run the normal Terminus East lost sector on the EDZ repeatedly if you're only looking for essence

i always use the orrery lost sector in artifacts edge on nessus. why? first of all it does not take long to get there from spawnpoint.
second, there is a public event very close to it aswell.
you can just enter it with your sparrow and go straight for the boss, no need to kill all the vex at the start.

what i tend to do is go in with my sparrow, and park it in a side cave.
that side cave is located on the right hand side when you go up the stairs ( used to be a location for some quest a couple of years ago).
park the sparrow there, kill boss, loot chest, go back to sparrow and get out of there.
when you hit the "loading screen" just turn around and go in again as the lost sector has now been reset.

all in all it takes about a minute, maybe 2 minutes tops to get in there, park sparrow, kill boss get back to sparrow and get out.

you dont need any DLC as its part of the base game.

as to to the amount of materials you get: its only 3 and compared to the (about 17 ish??) you get from a strike, in the end it is still faster than running strikes all day.

Oh thank you very much for the info. I appreciate it. I have done the 3 strikes per character to get the exotic and the clan reward for commends so I got those, but I dont really feel like farming strikes all day like you said lol.

I will try the lost sector and see how I with that, Thank you very much. Also with that sector I can get the Nightmare kills for other quests.

oh I also seen if you have the Starfarer 7M ship equipped you have a chance to get extra Essence.

You get extra Dawning Spirit with that ship equipped, not Essence. Every time you get a material drop, like Cabal Oil or Sharp Flavor, there's a chance to get a Dawning Spirit as well when you've got the ship equipped.

Oh you're right. I misread it...my bad. But its still good to get extra stuff.

I have been trying all week to get the personal touch ingredient but I havent gotten it. I read somewhere that its glitched. I hope they fix it soon.
