Anyone else gonna just skip the final shape?

I didn't do the most recent expansion because I got sick of the money shenanigans. As of now though they're talking about the final shape but after having returned to the game i know;
1) catching up on a season is far more work-like than it is fun
2) raid groups aren't for you anymore, catch up and then MAYBE you'll have a chance

I don't have it in me to navigate 1 or 2 again but I was wondering if I'm an outlier or if this is common?

Expansions no matter how dull or grand cost money in most games. Most live games or free to play games have several micro transactions you may choose to buy as well. Seasonal content from the past isn't time gated so it should be extremely easy to catch up. They have never been very engaging, and fun subject to everyone's personal taste. It is season 23 so most people should have this figured out by now and know what to expect.

I honestly don't know, on the one hand I've bought and played every expansion so far, but stopped buying season passes when I started disengaging with the game as it was just more of the same.

On the other hand I'm somewhat invested to see how this whole saga pans out, though if the past has taught me anything it'll all be some impenetrable mumbo jumbo that are the irrational ramblings of some wizard from the moon.

i will never preorder a dlc months in advance. i will preorder the week of release though. all the ppl that preordered it shoulda seen this coming.

I don't know yet, I will likely get the annual pass version, but who knows what will happen between now and then.

If you don't feel like getting it, you shouldn't. It's OK for you to not like things that others like.

I may get the standard version, but I'm done with the annual pass BS every season is just the same old arena grind, small blip of a story and a bunch of re-skinned of old vaulted content because they have no originality anymore.

I quit this garbage pit after Witch Queen. I bought Lightfall and wished I could've gotten a refund on it but OH WELL. At this point, Bungie of old is LONG GONE. I don't see Bungie lasting much longer and Sony dissolving them and putting the devs into other companies they own or the devs will move onto other developers not owned by Sony. You reap whan you sow. Bungie should be held accountable for pushing DLC that is literally a price of a damn PREMIUM EDITION BASED GAME! No reason for 100+ or more dollars for season pass and expansion. Its a SCAM!

True. It's just sad he just doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ anymore what anyone says when there is factual info that this game and COD are bad games. I guess just move on from said argument with him and say "I won and he lost cause he won't admit he was wrong and just keeps using the idea of opinion against opinion even though its opinion against fact".

Anyway, I play mainly RPGs, RTS and Mecha majority of the time and I recently got back into bf2042 which has made a bounce back after 2 years, but the problem is the playerbase is not big enough to fill up the servers. Your stuck mostly against pvp bots ><. But, the game is better than playing Destiny and CoD and HALO Infinite. I also play World of Tanks, but I will be quitting that game if Steel Aces is really good.

Would love for a game like Destiny to be a GREAT FPS looter shooter, but so far none are out that can put up a fight and take over the mantle. but I won't play this game when your paying for rehashed, over rehashed, over REHASHED content every season and every DLC. I just can't do it anymore.
