Macros and even ingame scripting options in other games have been removed in the past, just for this singular purpose, and of that the same behaviour, either manual, ahk, macro's, ingame or not, hardware based or software based or both, can be used for ill intended purposes. I proved the concept in many games. But in a game as destiny 2, there are more morons then one ought to consider thinking about.
In conclusion:
It's the principle that matters. Otherwise you'll stand corrected by consequences which may or may not fall upon you.
However, its not against any established rules of the gaming community, that one key has to be binded to just 1 key. There are some fantastic gaming equipment out there if you just know what to look for.
