New Player confusion

Me and some friends are completely new to Destiny 2 and had already lots of fun with the free 2 play content in the last days. Especially the Dungeon "Prophecy" which we where able to complete yesterday was a very nice experience.

So we decided that Destiny 2 could become the next game for us in the future and we agreed on investing on it. But now comes the point - we are massively confused on what we need to buy, to be able to play the content we want...

As said, we are mainly interested in Dungeons (and probably later in game also in Raids). I've seen that there are currently 7 Dungeons in the game (of which one of them is f2p). And I also read that you don't only need the DLC, in which the dungeon was released, but also "Dungeon-Keys" to be able to access the dungeons.

Is this correct and if yes, is there something like a "Legendary Collection" where all DLCs and Dungeon-Keys are included? Or do we need to buy every DLC + Dungeon-Key separately?

At this time, the armory pack is half the cost of Forsake pack or 30th anniversary pack and has both of them, the armory pack is $10.00 so there are those two dungeons.

The legacy pack has the three expansions Shadowkeep, Beyond Light and Witch Queen.

The dungeons that came with Witch Queen and Lightfall can all be had without the expansion in the Eververse store in game for silver (real money).

Edit: The dungeons that came out with Witch Queen and Lightfall are NOT included with the expansions, but there are two for each of them.

First of all thanks for your answer.
Just to make sure I've understood you correctly - If we buy for example the Dungeon Key "Witch-Queen" we well get instant access to the corresponding dungeons without having to complete previous questlines or suff like that?. And also our current power level of somewhere between 1700-1750 is high enough to complete these dungeons?

Would you recommend to buy dungeon keys only, without the corresponding DLC or do we miss a lot of loot/equipment/informations which are necessary to complete the Dungeons?

If you buy the dungeon key for Witch Queen, you should have instant access to the dungeons. As to the light level, I just don't know.

Would you miss out? No, if you want the campaigns and other content of the expansion, you can get that, they don't come together anyway. The dungeons before Witch Queen do come with their expansion though, only Witch Queen, Lightfall and I assume Final Shape have the dungeons separate from the expansion.

Duality and Spire of the Watcher are 1,600
Ghosts of the Deep is 1,790. Season 23's upcoming dungeon will probably be the same.

i think he actually need to buy lighttfall annual pass for 2 dungeons no ? i mean latest content
Edit: My bad , not worth to buy annual pass its a waste because u already left 3 seasons behind. u need to buy dungeons separately and grind weekly pinnacle gear/weapons
