Necrochasm catalyst

Yesterday I got the Necrochasm catalyst (according to when I finished Crota's End). But I did not have the weapon in my inventory at the time. Where do I get the catalyst from now? When I equip the weapon, it is just as when I got it, after all.

You need to do the secret catalyst stuff after the bridge encounter and before you beat crota.

Nee yu cross the bridge, quipe necro and go to the right side and there will be a plate you cant miss it.


Then before crota, go into the right tower bottom floor, and there will be the next plate.

The goal is to kill all the knights with swords before time expires.

The game literally stated that I got the catalyst. And according to the catalyst section from collections, yes, I have.

Screenshot of your Necro? If you have the catalyst unlocked you should be able to slot it in.

Necrochasm's catalyst triumph, which tracks the requirement you have to meet to be able to insert the catalyst into the weapon, can be progressed and completed before you even earn the catalyst. So you can complete the triumph even though you don't have the catalyst yet.

Regardless of what the game's individual messages may imply (and yes it can be confusing because Necrochasm does things backwards, compared to other weapons, and the wording has not been adjusted to reflect this) the ONLY way to earn the catalyst is the timed plate puzzles Sumerat mentioned. There is no other drop source, neither from raid completions nor from any triumph. If you have not done the plate puzzles, you do not have the catalyst.

Once you get the catalyst, if you completed the triumph, you can apply to Necrochasm immediately. If you had not completed the triumph, then you'd have additional Oversouls to earn first before you can equip.
