Bungie needs to slap the balancing team. Like, why are you changing an entire exotic perk for the worst just because it is "overpowered" in PvP? Why not give it more delay, make it show on the radar, reduce the HP. reduce the scorch time, decrease the explosion range, REDUCE THE GRENADE ENERGY REFUND IN PVP, or etc instead of making the exotic completely useless for both PvP and PvE?!

Solar Hunter infinite ability cycling was the most fun I've ever had in this game. The DPS doesn't even come close to just using your guns but it was still the most fun I've had in Destiny nonetheless.

It's literally easier to just tweak the numbers to reduce its lethality in PvP instead of changing its entire perk. In the first place, your balancing team needs to play the game that they are balancing because there are a lot more subclasses that desperately needed new aspects to be competitive in PvP.

Nerfing stuff in pvp and making it garbage in pve too is such a bungie signature move. I'm not a hunter main and haven't used those exotics all too much but I definitely agree

I was under the assumption that there were better solar-specific exotics to run, and much better hunter exotics in general that go well with the subclass. I think the nerf is well-deserved, although not in PvE.

Besides, Melee Spam > Grenade Spam for solar hunters.
