Destiny PVP its time for Bungie to wake up Hand cannon are easymode garb and not a signature destiny weapon
Ok i am kinda sick and tired of this easymode META who is prevalant since D2 launch .. The handcannon have way to much aim assist and bullet magnetism .. you shoot in the crouch area you get a freaking crit as if you aimed for the head . You shoot 1 feet over the head still get a crit and so on . Easily spammable good at almost any range and outmatch almost any other weapons ..

The ability to peak shot left the target with 2/3 or 1/3 of their health and so on ..

Tracking players is much harder in this game than flick shot especially with this insane aim assist ..

Hand cannon do to much damage and require little to NO SKILLS at all .

Anyones can spam hand cannon at anyones with ease .. while the same player would struggle to track someones mooving all over the place with a full auto weapon..


Hand cannon are basically Magnum style revolver and they are not Bungie or destiny signature weapons ... They are just plain boring and overuse because they are easy mode farming device in PVP ...


Its time for bungie to wake up and make all weapons type viable in the crucible where playstyle should matter not just few brokens rolls and of course Hand cannons ..

99% of my death in this game are done by hand cannon and the other 1 % by broken weapons such as god rolls or 1 hit kill easymode bow with insane magnetism ..

Hand cannon should have a much reduced hitbox for critical that fit the player head models so its a ( risk vs reward ) type of thing .. there is no risk reward with HC at the momment they are easymode forgiving and plain boring ..

hand cannon should suffer from increased flinch when hit by full auto weapons so they have to play more carefully same goes for sniper atm in the game it seams as if full auto weapons suffer more from flinch than HC and Snipers wich is a travesti !

its getting very obnoxious to see the same low skills players rolling Shotty HC build in the most easymode fashion dominating 99% of their games with no skills and no risk reward type of thing .. the map highly favor laggy shotty sliding players and HC users who basically have enough DPS and magnetism to kill at range but also cqc if they dont switch to their trusty 1 shot no skills shotty .

The state of this PVP as been broken for years .. Its either a broken X and Y weapons abused .. Or the same old Shotty HC meta

I allready give up on pvp in this game. Its unbalanced, its infested with cheaters and lifeless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and you can match againts the whole world i seen it happend. They say doing flawless is easy while average win rate of the comunity in the trials is %4-5. Also its kind a funny for a pve focused game to have mostly pvp content creators. Litterly every weapon ranking video in the youtube is for pvp.

I did realy try it toght. Spend around 100-150 hours and it was pure pain and suffering. If i realy wanna play pvp now i would have just played another game.
I agree but it's hard to change this because tracking with peer to peer netcode, your reliant on being either the host or have a good low latency connection and everything else fall in your favor for tracking to work well. Also the weapons themselves are anti-tracking due to recoil, stability and probably even AA itself due to correcting based on game's netcode.
Using handcannons is easy because of how the game is, so to change this your asking for much more then just a meta change.
What we should be asking for is recoil to be the same regardless if a controller is connected or not. That way, our comparisons of weapons become much closer to 1:1 experience.
Having said that, tracing rifle with 100 stability, 100 recoil is achievable, its just out damaged anyway due to with a handcannon you can only need 2-3 shots even without ADS to get a kill.

Bungie need to realise that having cater to the HC fanboys has created the same problem as their ♥♥♥♥ balance in Halo wich gravitated around 2 guns BR and Snipers . .

Bungie have been terrible at making all weapons and playstyle viable .. Halo is and always as been on a decline and got lucky it was almost the only FPS AAA game on xbox and made dedicated fans because of it ..

Thats said destiny 2 gameplay itself is fantastic and very satisfying but the crucible balance is out of wack and HC , snipers and bow and few broken godrolls if various type are the main problem preventing the crucible to be more successful and Trials more skillbased !

HC should be a peaker weapon so they should have a insane flinch penalty when spamming into the open rendering HC useless when not used properly ..

Hitbox magnetism need to be reduced a lot so gut shot no.longer count as crits ..

Sniper also should get a way more insane flinch

The flinch is so insignificant that when anti flinch mods are equipped they virtually no longer have any flinch
Meh, just don't play pvp.
Anybody who plays that mode deserves all the bad things that happen to them in it :buzzed:

There is slight aim assist even on PC, but its much less of a degree compared to consoles.

Yes some homing weapons work in pvp. Ticuu's for example

Amusingly, I see just as much smg, shotgun, and auto rifle use as I see hand cannons. Like my prefered right now is conditional finality + ambit sr2.
Battlefield V hacker fest (1.5 k/d) and mobility creep Fortnite (2.6) are felt more chaotic but they gave me better k/d than this game (0.9 k/d)

I was just messing with OP, 99 + 1 = 100. One of my grandsons reports that most of the time he is taken down with "POS SMGs!".

You definitely have no ideas of how the game backend mechanics work do you ? And its astonishing you have not realise it yourself and stull under the impression that your crouch shot were headshot ? like really ?

This game use " magnetism " cone where when your aim.get closer to the targeted area the back end system snap the shot to the hitbox but you dont notice it visually but the bullet " bend " and hit target even if you miss ..

You can miss shot by a lot and still gets crits the head " magnetism " is insanely huge noob friendly and uncompetitive ... Those who dare to talk about risk vs reward gimme a break lol HC are a low skill device so are shotguns and even snipers in destiny 2 due to thise easymode backend system of magnetism

Here a video of years ago and its still the same old story ... Low skills wannabe spamming HC who think they are good when they miss 99% of their shots yet are rewarded with undeserved crits and HC buffs ... Bungie need to wake up on crucible non sens with HC, shotgun and snipers/bow its about time now

Shotgunner most of them use HC as the other primary most loadout are HC + SHOTTY HC+SNIPE HC+ X so yeah still they main HC most of the time smgs are brought in only when ita godroll or broken ones like i said thats the 1%
