How to start fishing

Yes i know i gotta do the new content but where is it??? Do I need to buy the season pass?
Everyone says to me "duhh it's part of the season of The Deeep questline" okay so wheres the hecking questline 🤨

So if you don't have the season pass, you only get one instance of it. Fishing, stupidly, is locked behind a paywall...

Otherwise, start the intro questline for Season of the Deep (I imagine it's somewhere in the helm map?) and once you get the quest "Gone Fishing" you'll be chatting with Hawthorne and going from there

If you have the season pass, then when you go talk to the vendor in the H.E.L.M. it'll give you the starter quest. The next phase is to go talk to Hawthrone in the Tower Annex.

The phase after that, is to go collect bait.

Then you go fish.
