why? why ruin one of the greatest moments in destiny history. his death was very well done and led to one of the best story arcs in the entire series... and now it was all for nothing? it literally has no impact now. why is bungie so dead set on ruining their game's story ever since lightfall?

His ghost isn't around chilling out like Ikora's, they're inside the traveler. It's entirely possible that whatever storyline they've thought up (probably in the works for at least a year if not longer) he's a sort of ghost, a way for the traveler to speak to us directly

they are using the SW "force ghost" trick inside the traveler-veil fusion is not back alive but feels like a cheap way to surprise the only thing i want to see Crow meeting with Cayde and maybe the speaker ghost speaking something not useless or empty

Damn, that sounds kinda stupid when you put it that way. I really don't understand how that makes any sense lore-wise. If we can drown we should definitely be able to suffocate or something, nevermind the cold and all the other dangers of being exposed to the vacuum of space.

you do realise its because of the pressure, not the liquid. its not water either, its compressed methane. it actually does make sense if you know basic science.

the pockets of gas we pick up is to even the pressure to prevent us from getting crushed
which is something we do in real life for deep sea exploration? we pressurise the inside of the device to even out the external pressure.

Its just data mining confirmed and we all knew cayde was coming back the end of the year. Ligthfall is kinda "a long anime filler arc" till actual lightfall which now "final shape"
