In case you're getting the ERROR CODE BEAGLE for season of the deep
if you've gotten the Error code beagle for season of the deep, but you were playing fine before. Here is what fixed it for me.

Go to C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp
Find a folder called Destiny 2,
Delete it and then launch Destiny 2 through steam.

This seems to get rid of the currupted content Beagle is worried about. because let me guess, you reinstalled, verafied cache, but still get Beagle? try this and it should help. least it helps for me. if you're on Xbox... no idea, PC master race here so you're on your own.

as a disclaimer, this does not in any way shape or form bypass any of destiny's security as the folder and all of it's "normal" contents are restored to the temp folder once you launch destiny again. this post is merely troubleshooting help assuming you're encountering beagle and untill destiny patches the issue proper.

Thank you so much for this post, I reinstalled it with my hilariously bad internet just to get the error again and was about to do it yet again. It works fine now

This worked for me. Thank you. Was troubleshooting all last night, and just checked after my full Steam reinstall and 3rd Destiny 2 full reinstall to get the same error. Deleting this temp folder has fixed it. MVP.

I had the same problem as you. what you want to do is go to the search bar in your bottom left and type %localappdata% this should give you a folder once you open it go to temp then search destiny 2 and rename the folder for it to Destiny 2_backup and it should then allow you to boot up your game. Hope this helps and best of luck guardian

Not to revive a necro thread but putting it out there, Destiny 2 had been given me beagle errors all day across multiple installation drives. Until I deleted that folder, and then it works. Go figure. Bumping for visibility just in case someone else is tearing their hair out.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
