how to get power level 1770 when u play witch queen Campaign on legendary ?

Hey friends! i played with my friend the Campaing from the witch queen on legendary because i saw that u get power level 1170 when u play all Missions on Legendary. we played the last Mission & got a Option to take one of two exotic items. but how do we get the power level 1770? Or are we missing something?

Ps: i used this Site called destinyrecipes.. there is a message with:


"This character can instantly reach level 1770 by completing every mission in the Witch Queen campaign on Legendary"

and the last Mission we did was "The Ritual" on Legendary

I would think that a set of 1770 only comes from Lightfall and not from Witch Queen.
When WQ was new it did drop a set at a level that was equivalent to LF's drop (+20 lv into powergrind). I may be wrong but it seems to be this way.

Back during the Witch Queen game year, completing Witch Queen on Legendary gave you a set of power 1,520 gear. That's now obsolete because the current power floor is 1,600.

Here in Lightfall's game year, to get the 1,770 set, it is the Lightfall campaign you need to complete on Legendary, not Witch Queen.

just do vanguards.... i reached 1800 before buying any dlc's simply by spamming vanguards and seasonals.
