Is witch queen still worth it?

Considering jumping back into D2. From an endgame perspective do I need witch queen or is the content still relevant?

Do you need it? No.
Is it still relevant? Yes. It's one of the strongest DLCs in the franchise. It has an excellent campaign and lots of activities to engage in.

Mind you, I'd still say wait for a sale, but yes, it's a good DLC.

Be careful, I bought the Deluxe Edition key, but the dungeons are missing (but part of the description).

What do you guys mean by dungeon key? Lol.. are they selling the dungeons outside of the DLC? If thats the case can I just buy the dungeons??

Yes, you can buy the dungeon key without the expansion for 2000 silver.

yes, the monetization is ridiculous and confusing. the 2 additional dungeons are not included with the yearly dlc and require their own key. witch queen dungeon key includes duality and spire, lightfall dungeon key includes the new ghosts of the deep and a future dungeon that has not released yet. each cost 2000 silver. in my opinion, if you're debating the witch queen dungeons or witch queen itself, i'd get the dlc as you get a campaign + a great raid + some great exotics, which has more value than two dungeons (plus, its cheaper on its own right now because its on sale)

Yes, the new dungeon for Lightfall just came out. You'll need to buy that key as well.

At this point, the only real reason to buy WQ is to unlock the exotics that are paywalled behind it.

Thats just insane.. here I was thinking about jumping in but the way they have monetized this is so obviously meant to take advantage of the consumer that I can't justify it. I would of bought both DLCs. The fact that they have paywalled content from both just absolutely turns me off. I don't remember Forsaken being like that.. maybe I'm wrong though. Glad I posted on here first. Thanks for saving me guys.

We are talking about around 100 bucks to come back and play and have all the content I've missed. What in the actual ♥♥♥♥? Lol.

its also whats turning me off from coming back to this game..
destiny 2 itself may not be pay to win, but u have to pay just as much to get the full experience as in a p2w game..

have to buy the older DLCs even though they are not relevant anymore.. just for access to exotics.. then have to buy newest expansion.. but oh wait thats not enough either..also have to buy the annual pass or season passes.. and then even other stuff on top..

Basically with all confusion around Dungeon keys you are best off getting:

Witch Queen Basic or Legacy Pack whcih includes WQ (Deluxe/ Ultimate can screw you)
- Witch Queen Dungeon Key seperately, you have to buy in game shop with silver (a joke I know)
- Lightfall Deluxe which will deffo have the LF keys included and all Season passes.

Thing is if you plan to play mainly solo dont worry too much about dungeons unless you wanna use LFG alot

the way the game is so chopped up behind diff pay walls is dumb but the above will cost you about £70 if you are clever with Code sites.

I ended up just buying all content in the game recently using code sites and Silver and got everthing for about £88 and now there is nothing I dont own, but it was hella confusing and I could have saved more cos now I need to buy season passes as and when they drop as I didnt get LF Deluxe which I regret
