Legendary Lost Sectors

So are legendary lost sectors now basically impossible unless you're at the pinnacle cap and +20 or above on the artefact? I'm at about 1800-1810 and I just had to use all of my heavy on killing one champ then get deleted because all the enemies are doing ridiculous amounts of damage to me.
I wish they would put the required power level for legendary activities back down to the powerful cap again like it was before.

Mostly depends on the Lost Sector. I was farming Master one on Europe (solo obviously), while being about 1820 in PL myself. It is doable, but not all of them i think. (I am a casual so there is that)

Legend lost sectors are very easy to do to be honest. you have to have the right weapons to stun champs and you need to play from cover.

if you find them impossible its more of a skill issue and less of nerf lost sectors issue

because people kill a champion less than a 5 second in Legend Lost sector ? grenade launcher should be pretty decent DPS on champion.

Do you mean people that aren't 20-30 levels below the recommended, so it is impossible to do these lost sectors unless you are 1830 or above?

it genuinely depends on the lost sector and your build, i have been gearing my hunter but i made sure to set up a build that fit all the modifiers (with what i had) and it was hard but still doable

funny,now you talk about Light level ? you know you having low light and deal less damage agains enemy and now you here to mad about it ? it is possible yes,just take more time. i did few time Legend lost sector when i was 20 light below,take me alot of time,but i manage to do it,i recommend you reach 1820 then challenge Legend lost sector again.

The better u are at the game the easier they are

For the newbie content you can do non legendary

i mean i remember doing legend lost sectors at the beginning of the season at like 1790. it really does sound like a skill issue lol

impossible?no.
but there *IS* a reason why a certain light level is recommended and if you do not meet that level then , yes it it will be very difficult

wow condescending much??? Not what hes looking for. most of you have end game weapons he /she prob doesn't. instead ff the "get good" comments how about giving his some help.

Strand is the best way to deal with champs. Suspend and pound on them. Use a glaive with the seasonal artifact to stun. I have found scout rifles don't stun worth a crap and is very inconsistent. Suspend hit hit hit,,, run away and let it charge do it again. Legends are cat and moue game unless you are the raging studs that have answered you thus far..... you people always amaze me....

they cap you at 1815 and you can get alot of that up through the artifact.

really depends on the LS though.
the europa ones are piss easy, the EDZ ones on the left side of the map (2 of them) are also easy, the first dreaming city one in the rotation is easy-ish and the thrilladrome is a cakewalk.

for the most part they just take patience. once you have got the gameplan down for clearing it, you start speeding up.

do your weekly pinnacles when you can, they reset in 20 minutes from now so do them again.

if you really want to cheese them, Wish Ender + Glaive/SMG + an LFR or GL such as Cry Mutiny or Regnant will get you through basically all of them. If there aren't any barriers, can swap in Osteo or another AR/SMG + a glaive for the champs.

I can't be the the only one that's sick of how much of a slogfest and how annoying Destiny has become this expansion/season?

Legendary lost sectors aren't capped though, it's one of the few things you can still overlevel for.

well one thing you can always count on here is the constant hate and vitriol spewed by the greatest players in the game ( or so they think) Some on here will help others just want to flex.. Good luck hope some info has helped... And yes it does seem they upped the health of Champs, hell the Wyvern's have like a million plus health i swear
