So Neomuna red borders?

I beat the campaign at the start of the season and never looked back to Neomuna. Witch Queen at least have some activities for red borders such as Welspring, but my brain cannot figure out what I need to do on Neomuna for Red Borders.

You need to do "Heroic Patrols" the problem is they are at such a low spawn rate chance, you might get 1 per day (8 hours) of game time on Neomuna.

I spent 2 hours trying to get a Heroic Patrol and didn't get a single one, then when I finally managed to get one, I got a none deepsight weapon.

I have given up trying to obtain them because Bungie iirc dropped the spawn rate of the Patrols and Deepsight Drops, thank's to iirc all the videos on YouTube about getting them all done in a day!

You get the remaining red borders from Heroic "Gold" Patrols. These will either be Kill Patrols (in which it requires precision kills) or HVT Patrols. Keep in mind that if you do all of the campaign and post-game quests from Nimbus on all characters, you'll only need 2 red borders per weapon instead of 5.

That said, the grind is atrocious. Gold patrols only have a chance spawn in any of the 3 locations, does not guarantee a deepsight drop per run, and does not put the weapons on a knockout system. Basically what you get is a chance to get a gold patrol, a chance to get the weapon you want, and a chance of that being deepsight.

From personal experience on this, red borders look like a 15-20% drop chance at best, but that's thrown on the 1/5 chance of getting the weapon you want. Gold Patrols are also not guaranteed to spawn in when you boot up the map, but a round trip from orbit will reset it.

Sorry but that's just not true, or Bungie made sure to mess with the chances for your final red boarder because for the past 2 weeks I have been farming for the sniper rifle bp and I have yet to get the final one, this happened with a few of the NOT "moon" weapons while I was farming them. SO no it's not even a chance! Hell you were supposed to get some from ranking up but nope! That hasn't been the case in a while.

I just teleported to terminal over and over. Boring but works fine. Seems you get a red border every 4th or so, heroic.
