the other 3 require spoils, but are all amazing at their own things, especially the sparrow because its fast asf.
its a rocket launcher with crackhead tracking and it detonates on proximity- that proximity being enough to kill a guardian around corners easily.
they can still dodge it if they spam jump or smth, but providing you're fast to react when you get vision on them, particularly if its by surprise- thats probably not happening unless by sheer luck, in which case you just fire again.
it gets 3 in the mag too and the rocket tracks pretty nicely and detonates when it gets within like 10m (whatever the range is, is enough to kill a guardian).
if someone invades and tries to hide behind a rock or they just walk out and peak- you just ADS, fire and go back to whatever you were doing and 9 times out of 10 you get a kill.
the fact that it detonates on proximity makes it awful for boss dps in pve due to its falloff there- but it still one shots the envoys and guardians in gambit, even through the invade overshield.
its good for picking off single targets and as such, having a single rocket in crucible that uses your exotic slot isnt really doing you any favours either.
as a fun gambit build with it:
you can take the Bricks from Beyond artifact mod with some sort of void special weapon to kill blockers and farm heavy ammo bricks that way. combine that with the high value targets which drop ammo bricks. take a void scavenger mod on the legs + x3 void ammo on the body and youll have plenty of rockets for the whole match. you only need 1 if you get invaded and you know the spawns of the invader.
i might've explained it badly but this, the fourth horseman, xenophage and the thunderlord are easily the best gambit exotics imo. its might take a game or two to get used to but if you're positioning is half decent and you know the spawns, nobody is getting a kill when they invade you lol
Le Monarque
Izinagi's Burden
Ace Of Spades/Last Word (Ace for KB+M, Last Word for controller)
Le Monarque is one of, if not the best option for void builds, with built-in anti-champ.
Izinagi's is one of the best burst DPS options in the game.
Ace and LW are fantastic for PVP.
The first exotic you should chase is the sparrow, by the time you get 240 spoils you should have all the other mats needed.
