Fast way to level up in crucible?

I discovered recently in Iron Banner if you wear IB gear you get like 6 x the XP. Is there any similar thing for the crucible? If it’s gear idk if I have much crucible gear. The dailies help but they eat up glimmer.

on certain weeks they have double exp gains for crucible

next week is vanguard double exp so maybe the week after that will be crucible double exp

There is no gear boost like Iron Banner, but Crucible has streaks which will apply bonus reputation. If you play multiple games in a row, each match gets a little bonus rep boost, the maximum boost is obtained after five matches. The streak will go down if you play Vanguard Ops or Gambit, but otherwise it remains as the current level.

Crucible also gets the occasional boosted reputation, I think it's 1.5x rather than double, but it's a boost nonetheless. Not active this week though.

(Iron Banner does have a streak counter, but it only affects the normal Crucible rep points that you also earned by playing IB, not IB reputation itself. That is only boosted by gear/emblem/challenges.)

Edit: Just checking, are you talking about levelling a character up by earning XP for PvP, or are you talking about Crucible reputation?

During the final week of the season, they almost always do 2x rep for all activities. This season, that would be from May 16-22.
