Hi there!

Please see the below information from BattlEye on this particular error.

When launching the game I get a “Failed to initialize BattlEye Service: Driver Load Error (1275).” error and Windows displays a popup reporting that BEDaisy.sys cannot be loaded on this device due to a security feature called “Hardware-enforced Stack Protection”.

Recently Microsoft has started to ask Windows 11 users to enable this security feature and if they do so it will cause the BE driver to be unable to load. Due to the complexities involved in security software unfortunately many kernel-level anti-cheats, including BE, are not compatible with this feature yet. While we are working on finding a solution and are also in contact with Microsoft regarding this issue, unfortunately there is no easy or immediate fix for it.

Therefore, for the time being, users will have to revert enabling this security feature using one of the following ways. Please note that by doing so you will not lower the security of your device or expose it to greater risks compared to previously, as this is a new security feature that wasn’t enabled on devices before.

Click the “Disable” button in the Windows popup and reboot your system.
Open the Start menu and enter “Core isolation” in the search bar to open the related Windows Defender settings. In the “Windows Security” window switch the option called “Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection” to “Off”, then reboot your system.
Afterwards you should be able to play BE-protected games again.

Yes! It's a new issue since Windows updated it security settings. BattlEye has to update it's software but they have not yet done this.. You can disable your kernel mode in your security dashboard and then it will work again but yeah it sucks to disable it for security reasons....

Yes, same problem on PlanetSide 2!
I confirm the technique of disabling a security option but it's very average.... It's been like this for almost a month

Just keep that setting off in windows until/if they do fix it. No big deal. It's not like your PC is gonna be under attack from hackers or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with it off.

Are you on windows 11 because if so I can assure you it’s there if you’re up to date.

1. Recently Microsoft has started to ask Windows 11 users to enable this security feature

I do not remember when this error start , but its not recently at all , dont remember but i think its have been close to a year sens i stop playing becouse of this error .

I dont remember either windows 11 asking users to enable this option, it was allready enable after you update windows i beleave.

2. Please note that by doing so you will not lower the security of your device or expose it to greater risks compared to previously, as this is a new security feature that wasn’t enabled on devices before.

First the security feature its not new, second if we remove a security feature we do indee lower the security of our device and yes we are expose to greater risk if we remove a security feuture on our computer .

3. While we are working on finding a solution and are also in contact with Microsoft regarding this issue, unfortunately there is no easy or immediate fix for it.

In my opinion you should work much much faster on updating BE compatibility , this error / isuue BE have, should have been fix it the day before it star it , if i have stop playing some games becouse of this compability error BE have,i dont think iam alone and iam sure others have stop playing becouse of this error too, i guess you going to do a better efford on fix this BE compability error when game companies start asking why they are loosing players.

Yeah I don't think game companies care tbh. If you paid for their game why would they care that you cannot play it.
I have this stupid driver issue in tarkov and r6s since march or april and I cannot play those games. I got so mad recently because there was a new wipe in EFT and this ♥♥♥♥ still isn't fixed, that I even messaged tarkov support writing that this is laughable that their game uses an anticheat from a company that doesn't even bother to fix the driver issue for so many months. I wrote that maybe if they contact battleye, they'll do something about it. Two days later EFT support just answered me that I can disable the core iso in settings even though I stated in my first message that I know about this "fix" and I won't do that, beacause this anticheat shouldn't have kernel access in the first place.
So yeah, companies don't give a ♥♥♥♥, sadly. Maybe if STEAM was to refund the games that cannot be played because of this ♥♥♥♥♥ anticheat (even when the typical refund time is exceeded), then companies would start to care, but other than that I don't think they care.
