Stuck in an Infinite Loading Screen on startup
After today's weekly reset, i seem to be stuck in an infinite loading screen when i first launch the game. I've verified my files through steam and have made sure my drivers are up to date. Does anyone have a fix to this problem?

I had the same problem and recently just found a fix for myself atleast. Essentially I have a wireless a10 headset and for some reason when the headset is not connected through the usb adapter or is not turned on for pc mode the game will not load. Ive noticed the same thing happens when my controller is plugged in through my usb 3.0 port. Im not sure what the general fix is however, for me unplugging things out of my usb 3.0 or connecting my headset works and allows it to load. Hope this helps.

It seems that a lot of the issues revolve around the audio.... in my case I had 2 instances of my audio driver. When I disabled one D2 magically works.

Thanks for this tip. I recently updated some audio drivers and not sure if default audio device changed but I went into audio settings and disabled all audio devices other than the one I needed and restarted the game and it instantly worked. Well this and I went in System > Sound > Volume Mixer > Destiny 2 drop down (game has to be running for this option to show up - even if it's not going past load screen). Once here, change the 'Output Device' to the correct audio device that will be used for this game. Close game via task manager and restart it, and viola.

Strange this was the issue but it was driving me crazy.

I have the same issue, and it seems to happen after every reset. As others have mentioned, the fix for me has been unplugging my headset from the front of my PC and restarting the game. Not sure why its happening. All my settings under sound control for apps are still the same?
