Riskrunner catalyst missing?

I'm a new player, started 3 days ago, now i'm stuck at lvl 4 guardian because he's asking me for the catalyst of riskrunner (which should drop with the weapon after the mission) but I have only the weapon in the inventory with the slot of catalyst empty.

What am i supposed to do? I can't find a way to fix this

Unless they changed it, no, the catalyst doesn't drop when you pick up the gun, you get it a bit farther along when you fight the boss after picking up the gun.

You dropped down the vent and fought the boss and the mission timed out and put you out?

You can create a new character and do it, otherwise I don't know, don't think so.

Edit: Also, you know how to go into the gun and apply the catalyst?

I think I've seen this complaint a few times late, and IIRC the problem was that they disconnected right as they were receiving the catalyst. The solution was to either use another character and get it there, or join someone else on that same mission and you'll get it at the same time they do.

damn... ok i'll give a try with another character, but very boring ngl lol.
yeah i think i know how (?) open the weapon's details, select the catalyst slot and apply a catalyst, right?
problem is, mine is empty :D

I think I got the catalyst quest for the riftrunner from one of the NPCs back at the tower? Check your active missions.
