im confused with the navigation in D2.. i need some help

is it only me or is the navigation totally strange and complicated sometimes?
i got some quests but no clue how to get there or start them.
as example.. one quest is saying "complete a competetive playlist match" but i cant find it and marking the quest also doesnt tell me where to go.
then there is another quest.. telling me to do something in Europa.. but i cant warp to Europa? if i mark the quest it shows me in the Destination screen the Europa planet but there is no Warp point at all and i cant get there.
either im missing something or the navigation in Destiny is very complex idk
can you guys tell me how to do these 2 quests?

For the competitive playlist; On the destinations screens you have 4 coloured circles at the top. Blue one is vanguard/strike playlists, green is gambit playlists, red is crucible/pvp playlists, yellow is old content. Pick Crucible, here you see more specific playlists, including one called Competitive.

If there are no landing zones on Europa, it's most likely that you're still half way the introduction quest to Europa, and the landing zones have been disabled. Look for any quests (Blue shield) on the map that let's you launch it. Complete it, and you should unlock the landing zone.

Addition:
If there is no quest on the Europa map;
Head to the Quest Archive and in the "The Past" section you should have a quest for Beyond Light. Pick it up and it should add a mission node to your Europa map.
Completing that mission should unlock the landing points on Europa for you.
