Best stasis weapons to use for stasis fragment quests?

I've gone through the whole process twice for 2 of my characters, with the part from the Beyond Light campaign where you have to do certain quests to get the stasis fragments (using stasis in crucible, gambit or vanguard strikes, etc.), and am working on my 3rd character now. When I did it with my first 2 characters, that was a terrible grind, because that was a while ago, when stasis weapons weren't available during that time, so the only way I could get my stasis kills towards the quests were stasis melee, grenade, and super kills. And due to the fact that I hate pvp (gambit and crucible), I avoid accepting the gambit and crucible quests from the exo stranger, I always just stick with the vanguard one. Slower, but at least something I can handle that doesn't stress me out, like the pvp.

Now that stasis weapons are available, are there any stasis weapons that would count for stasis kills towards these quests? If so, what are the best stasis weapons you would recommend? Cause this sounds like it would make it go much faster, using stasis weapons in addition to using grenade, melee and super kills.

Ager's Scepter is great for a main gun. Its an exotic from Forsaken pack I believe.
Krait is a good AR, if that is your thing. I got one with the headstone perk. I use the Palmyra for a rocket launcher, and I also have a statis machinegun, Recurrent Impact, also with the Headstone perk.

Yeah Ager and Krait were my main weapons of choice for these quests. I hope you've already done your Warlock because Stasis melee kills.... urgh

Ager's Scepter is from Beyond Light, specifically from Season of the Lost.

if you have access to them atm without wasting materials i would recommend either agers scepter from season of the lost or cryosthesia from season of the splicer. though if you can find you a good world drop weapon with headstone that would also be a big help. there are a good number of weapons that can roll with this perk so if your not looking for burn ascendant shards at the monument of light it worth looking into them.
