I don't pay much attention to the names though.
Veteran players are used to skipping the result screen, they queue up as soon as match ends and old habits die hard.
Not everyone knows that you can commend from the result screen or the opposite team. Some players commend randomly and most don't pay attention to names unless you've done something extraordinary. Getting the most points is not extraordinary.
You don't have to commend just because the system exists. Random commendations depreciate the system, making them necessary for progression does the same, but people won't care otherwise. You should not take it personally either way.
PVP matches are very painful anyways, with all the lagswitching and netlimiting guys playing the game without being punished for it, it's just too much of a hassle, I am not surprised people go with a 'get this over with' attitude.
Also, why do you guys care about commendation rank?
Everybody who has big scores used the cheese farming method in Raids and other activities, everyone with multiple thousand points has cheated their way up, commendation rank is entirely useless to judge a persons activity, how much they are liked or how 'good' they are as a player, its an absolutely useless stat.
Subpar for who? Who are you to decide what is 'subpar' for that particular player? Not everyone has the sorts of skills to sit at the top of the leaderboard. But for the PVP-snobs, I suppose that sort of thing irrelevant. Imagine being so taken with ones own performance, that they try to impose their own criteria on what skills others 'should' have in order to play 'their' game 'their' way. Get over yourself.
Fair enough. Enjoy your day.
However when i play solo, i commend good players. I dont commend sub 1kd and/or people who feed the enemy team.
