Season pass ornaments (Opinion)

If you own the pass for the season, should be able to get them even after the season ends; It's just cosmetics, so paying the money for what's basically a store ornament but missing out cuz you took a hiatus or something kinda feels bad.

Shortly before Vow came out, I felt like crap with the game and was unmotived, didn't play at all, and now I missed out on some cool stuff like the season of the Haunted junk. Wishing I could claim the stuff from that season, at least the cool skull ornaments n whatnot, you know?

The funny thing is, they can do it, but they don't want to. There are browser extensions that allow you to pick up rewards from old season passes that you forgot to pick up. So, for example, I forgot to pick up 3 exotic ciphers. It turns out that in theory Bungie has the ability to give players access to the old passes, but that would mean doing something useful and good for the players. Bungie doesn't do that.

Yea I just tried to use that to grab Haunted and Plunder stuff, but the bundles aren't there sadly xD I can see armor bundles for Arrivals n stuff, but I wasn't playing during that time. (I didn't begin playing Destiny til Season of the Lost) Would be nice if I could at least claim the armor ya know?

Just the armor ornaments, which I basically paid for already by getting the pass in the first place and I'd be happy if I miss out on everything else. It was just a ♥♥♥♥ run and I took the hiatus, but man I wish I had at least kept eyes on the game still. If I had seen what was the passes, I would've come zipping back for sweet loot.

Maybe they'll update the previous passes in the nearish future and let them be claimable in the extensions, hey?

I doubt it. It is more likely that they will put the ornaments from the old passes in the eververse store.

Yeah that's more or less what I've figured, but sucks to have to buy em twice. Suppose I'd take that over just never being able to get them at all though.

i had a hiatus on haunted because i felt like ♥♥♥♥ as well, but tbh i dont care for the haunted armor, it wasnt that good looking to me...now the helmets where cool but the rest wasnt

Yeah that's fair, I was burnt out major bad so that's why I stopped playing. Pretty stupid of me to do when I bought the Witch Queen deluxe buut hey, we don't always make smart choices. At any rate, I'm playing now at least. I just wanted those cool skull helmets
