There is a lot of stuff that are confusing for me in this game, and honestly idk what to do
Lost sectors are worth doing just to be able to see for yourself which sector is available today on legendary difficulty. Without doing this, you have to look up this information by yourself on third-party sites ( for example, the "today in destiny" site)
If you bought Lightfall (or Witch-Queen) then the best solution is to do the story campaign on legendary difficulty. This will boost you to 1770. But in fact, you can do whatever you want and you'll get better gear, all the way up to 1750. Strikes would probably be a better choice.
You're highly likely to get exotics you don't own, after that it's RNG and all unlocked exotic armor can drop from any source. Unlocked exotic weapons won't drop anymore since you can always pull them from collections. Monument, quest and exotics with specific drop locations can't be unlocked randomly.
https://www.blueberries.gg/leveling/destiny-2-beginners-guide/ a bit outdated, but the general idea is the same: reach the soft cap (1750), do weeklies (marked by golden token on Destinations screen) and available quests, do seasonal challenges, expand your arsenal and make a build for each subclass (solar, void, etc.), reach the powerful (1800) cap, work on reaching the pinnacle cap (1810), tackle more difficult activities like GM nightfalls, master raids and master dungeons. Prioritize seasonal and the most recent DLC content, unless you need a specific exotic from an old DLC. Don't forget to have fun.

It makes me feel pretty tired because i dont know what to do anymore, i dont get what people talk about, and overall it feels like i would progress pretty slowy
Yeah it's very sloppy. Basically, just play if you're in the mood to shoot stuff. If you just want to play the game and keep playing, eventually you will figure things out.
( xddd game add ZERG Drop mod 6y ) time and time patch.
