Horrible performance

Hey is anyone else having crazy bad frame drops lately ESPECIALLY on neomuna? I am curious if any of you know whether this is something that the devs are looking into?

There is just to much going on, you on avg 50 ads shooting you. 10 being killed and 10 respawning at any givin point in time.

Alot of stuff to render in in such a short time WHILE BEING CONNECTED TO THEIR SERVERS so it may not be your computer itself having performance issues. just a big bowl of soup that is just "good enough" to play/eat.... will they fix it? only if it starts impacting sales. but lightfall is already one of the worst DLCs ever so maybe not?

or its a skill issue... what ever the destiny jocks wanna call it.

Neomuna has a lot going on, I still stay mostly over 100FPS @1440p but somewhat lower than some other places.

Destiny 2 has had performance problems ever since lightfall came out, probably due to them tweaking the engine.

turn TA off it does virtually nothing in game, same with shadow quality to lowest, DOF, foliage detail distance, basically most settings in D2 do not actually noticeablly affect the way the game looks or really even plays.

Only noticed spiky frame rate drops during the large Vex public event on Neomuna, the rest seemed fine. Entry level PC 60 FPS capped.

i will try some of these out! I have ocd and something about turning graphics down always irritates it even if I dont even notice the difference

I am running on a 3060 and I only average like 85 in big combat scenarios and in neomuna its more like 60 and it dropped to 40 a few times

started from 110 fps on the start with 1080Ti and now getting 50-70 fps with 2070.

I have game setted on Ultra, and I casually have 90+ fps, idk what you problem, maybe you are one of those guys who need minimum 144 fps to play

90fps is usually ok, but when it goes from 144 to 90 to even 144 to 60 constantly. It is horrible to look at.
