Causing solar ignition to opponents?

I'm trying complete a crucible bounty where I need to kil opponents with solar ignition damage and I just can't complete it. Not with weapons or solar super even with Ember of combustion fragment.

You're very likely not killing them with ignition, but whatever you're trying to cause ignition with. It's a very ♥♥♥♥ bounty because in PvP, ignition basically only kills someone that was about to die to a stray bullet anyway.

Best bet is to use an incandescent weapon, and kill one person amongst a group.

Pick warlock, use the long range melee with double firebolts. Tag a player with 1/2 firebolts and simply hit them with the ranged melee.

Been suffering with that as well. I think the Gunpowder Gamble empowered grenade would count, but don't quote me on that. If you need the given amount of weekly bounties, you can buy extra ones.

Hunter: Caliban’s Hand Throwing Knife + Incendiary Grenade or use any grenade that scorches and use Weighted Throwing Knife on a scorched enemy to ignite them.

Warlock: Easiest way is to use the Celestial Fire melee + Incendiary Grenade for an easy Ignite. If you’re feeling confident and want to get closer to your opponent you could use Incinerator Snap as well. Phoenix Dive while you have Heat Rises activated will Scorch nearby enemies.

Titan: Hammer Strike melee and the Consecration Aspect + Pyrogale Exotic.
