Volatile Rounds bugged in Hero's Burden?

I have Iron Banner's Hero's Burden SMG, already unlock the artifact mod 'Picking up orbs make Void weapon Volatile', but everytime I currently using Hero's Burden, it doesn't activate, the buff wont applied. But it is applied using other void weapons like in the video, i tought it's only the Hero's Burden, but today i tried another Hero's Burden with different perks, IT WORKED!

My Hero's Burden perks are : Fluted Barelll-Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds-ArmorPiercing Rounds, Well Rounded and Repulsor Brace.

If i want the Volatile to triggered or active, i need to change to other Void weapon in the Heavy slot first (ie:Taipan)

1st situation -> generate orb - switch to Taipan - buff applied - switch to Hero's Burden - Volatile Rounds still active
After the 1st situation, if i didn't go to other destination, the buff is still working correctly, i no longer need to switch to other void heavy

2nd situation -> generate orb - using other void energy weapon - buff applied - switch to Hero's Burden - buff dissapear
This 2nd situation can be seen in the last part of the video. And i already tried it on other weapon the buff didn't dissapear (ie : Veles to Funnelweb)

3rd situation -> generate orb - using another Hero's burden - buff applied - switch to 'desire' Hero's Burden - buff still applied
This 3rd situation is making me confused more....

Is this only me, or did i doing it wrong?

Is that before the hotfix? probably just bugged out at the moment.
I did try the same thing as you did in your video, with same hero's burden perks you have,
the volatile round works just fine even after I switched to others void weapon it didn't dissapear.

thanks, hope bungie could fix it.. i'm not a pvp guy, so having that perks really helping me on pve, since, i'm not that kinda good
