How do I equip the artifact mods for nightfall
Maybe a dumb question. But I cant figure out how to equip the mods I unlocked within the artifact. For example I want to install the anti barrier mod on the assault rifle. I unlocked it in the artifact menu. But when I open the inventory, select my purple auto rifle and go to the weapon mod selection I cant find any anti-barrier mod. There are a bunch of mods I can pick from but not the ones from the artifact.

Could anybody tell me what I am doing wrong.

Oh. Did they change it ?. I remember from a long time I had to equip them I think. Also the nightfall description is a bit vague on where to look. Well anyway, Thanks:steamhappy:. Now I can finaly give it a try after trying to figure it out for weeks. almost 800 hours in game btw :steamfacepalm: lol

Yes, they got changed. They were initially mods that you had to slot into weapons, as you remember (which meant they'd take up the slot you could otherwise use for Boss Spec/extra ammo/etc). Bungie later changed it to where artifact mods are now basically just perks that are always active. So if the season has Anti-Barrier auto and you pick that artifact perk, now every single auto rifle you ever use for the season will have innate Anti-Barrier (Exotics with intrinsic anti-Champion perks, such as Wish-Ender's Anti-Barrier, will override artifact perks though).

Bungie later changed it so instead of only being able to pick 12 mods, you could eventually just grind to get all the artifact mods and now, as of a few seasons ago, they've changed it again to where artifact mods are now basically just perks that are always active.
Quick correction, they were not slotted into your weapon, they were slotted into your arms armor

Their first iteration back in shadowkeep, they were weapon mods. The arm mods came later.
