ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS?

So i have received the shadowkeep DLC as a gift on steam a couple days ago, but when i went to play the campaign i was suppose to receive the campaign quest called (legacy shadowkeep quest) in order to start the campaign. Well i did not receive that quest nor do i have that quest anywhere in my quest's section or at the kiosk in the tower where you can go pick up old quests. Although when i change to either of my other characters i can go receive the quest like normal with no problems.

look for the icon on the moon

There should be a marker on the moon map that looks like a chevron. It should have the words "campaign" below the icon title.

You may need to visit Eris on the moon first. I havent done this campaign in a while, but it IS in the game.

i think i know what happened, so a while ago bungie made shadowkeep free for a week and i got to step 10 of 19 on the campaign quest during that week, then after that week ended i couldn't play shadowkeep anymore so i deleted the quest. Now that i have the DLC the only mission i can play from the campaign is step 10 of 19 mission called "into the deep" and if i complete it nothing happens i can only just replay that same mission again.

into the deep is this week's weekly shadowkeep campaign mission for the rotator

you most likely have already beaten the shadowkeep campaign

what is the quest you are talking about called?

Is there anything in the quest kiosk? Found next to the postmaster in the tower and in the helm.

the quest is called legacy shadowkeep quest, but i didnt know campaign mission's rotate like that. So maybe i did finish the campaign i cant remember, is there a for sure way to tell if i did finish it?

Probably the simplest way is to check Eris's vendor on the moon and the lecturn. If anything is greyed out saying "complete campaign" you will know.

Lecturn maybe more tricky as you get those quests from nightmare hunts.

Actually, seeing the nightmare hunts maybe a good indicator too.

If you abandoned the mission you were on and it's not in the kiosk, you might try Eris to see if you have abandoned quest.

yea im thinking i prob finished it already because nothing is greyed out, just essence quest's and regular bounties at the lecturn and just moon bounties for eris and i can see/start all the hunts.
