Nerfing Neomuna Weapon Drops...Just Why

I am level 62 with Nimbus, I have done tens probably close to 100 Heroic Patrols and I cannot get a single Dimensional Hypotrochoid to drop beyond the three freebies, this gun cannot be crafted just what the ♥♥♥♥

Bungie wants you to play their game infinitely so stuff is hard to get. You know you will never do any Neomuna content anymore once you have everything done, even though all the activities are repeatable, so they stretch the content in order to make you play and play and play.

what? the droprate was nerfed hard. Heroic patrols used to be guaranteed a neomuna weapon. Now theres like 1 in 10 it'll be a neomuna weapon.

Theres essentially 4 drops you can get per week now. Nimbus Rep, Quinn weekly. the weekly partition mission. Weekly story mission.

It took me 3 weeks to just get the last iterative loop i needed to use deepsight resonator on.

I have only done 1 heroic patrol since season start and I have all patterns, but I will give it a try and see if it´s true.

I think he meant, that in the other 9 cases, you are getting nothing.

I don't think you can get nothing though. I did all the deepsights last season, but I haven't seen anything in the patch notes that anything about the heroic patrols have changed.

It could just be another bug, haven´t tested it myself, but I read they changed 2 patrol to heroic, or at least gold, to grant better rewards. Since Bungie also forgot to add the new seasonal exotic armors to Vex Strike Force and hasn´t fixxed it in 3 weeks, I wouldn´t be suprised if something with geroic patrols went wrong too.

The drop chance of Neomuna from Heroic patrols was changed with patch 7.1.0[www.bungie.net] at the start of Season of the Deep. It looks like we are supposed to get the weapons and deep sight patterns from Heroic Public Events now.

• Added Neomuna weapons as a drop change from completing Heroic Public Events
  
• Reduce Neomun weapons drop chance from VIP Patrols

think of bungie creating content for destiny 2 like someone choosing a song to listen to.
you have a choice of:
go find more music
listen to some of your old favourites
press 'loop this song'

bungie chooses the latter option 9/10 times.
