Point contact brace grind question

I cannot find new info for this season but can you get these from anything other than lost sectors solo? Xur? It is such a miserable grind but I really want these things with their new buff.

I think the exotic vex public event on Neomuna can drop it, but Lost Sectors are probably your best bet for focused farming.

Point-Contact Cannon Brace: Solo Legendary or Master lost sectors on Arms day.

No idea if Xûr carries them or not, but IF he does, it won't be until after you've unlocked them by getting them from a Legendary or Master lost sector run.

I have probably done 8-10 legendaries already. maybe i need to step it up to master, i've done a couple of those and they were painful for the loot.

It's generally considered better to do Legendary than Master. The increased loot chance (of Master) isn't considered an advantage over being able to do the run faster.

Make sure you kill all the champions though.

I just played my 4th run through today on legend and only a purple gauntlets. Do we know what "rare" lands as a value? is it 20% and I've been unlucky, or is it 5%?

Unlucky. Although anecdotal, I usually see new exotics within 3-5 runs. Good luck in future.

I got the 1k voices on the first run and the new trace rifle on the first gotd so I deserve a little grind for this. Those are odds I can live with. Thanks folks!
