How do you play classes without (much) healing?
I started in season 20 and played warlock exclusively, and now I feel like I have a really hard time without being able to drop healing rifts all the time or have devour running 24/7. I just picked up hunter for the first time and I'm really struggling in things like legend lost sectors without the constant self-sustain of the warlock kit. In higher difficulty content do hunters/titans just build for as much sustain as they can get, or rely on a fireteam providing more healing? Or, do you just have to play super cautious around cover and just hide when you need to wait for regen?

Max resilience and dodging, hunters also can go invis

Titans have health regen effects with almost every subclass ability, and hunters have invis/devour as well as different solar heals.

Caution, dodging, and liberally abusing the indirect damage abilities of Osteo Striga.

Use cover, be careful.

As a hunter main I'm finding myself playing warlock more and more. With the game getting more ridiculous with the Gatling gun explosives some of these newer NPCs have, as well as increased enemy numbers, playing cautiously sometimes is just not enough to stay alive. And being forced to use one tree for the invisibility feels limiting.

Almost every class and subclass have a way to heal, it's just a matter of putting the right build together. Recuperation mod on leg armour (orbs heal on pickup) and a way to generate orbs works on every class.
Resilience is probably the most important stat you can have as high as possible (up to 100).
The highest level activities are more about abusing weapons and enemy AI, its essentially impossible to survive open combat.
Strand Titan, it is all about stacking DR and abusing area control. When you have 80-90% damage reduction and most things are stuck floating in the air you take very little damage.

As an Arc Titan, abuse Jolt and Nades, and when enemies get close punch them to start health regen and trigger amplified.

Void Titan, overshield spam and getting healing via volatile explosions.

Solar Titan, bonk them with your hammer that heals you when you pick it up and abuse sunspots for restoration.

But with all of these you also need to play smart, limit angles you can get attacked from, use cover. And know when to retreat to let Recov do it's job and heal you.

You can use mods to create orbs of power for recovery boosts on hunter in solo content.

devour helps alot.
max resilience and alot of regen.

Void Titan has a fragment or aspect that allows his barricade to heal and overshield. that can come very handy in tight spots.

Every class can go on void to get devour, or go solar for healing nades. As a void hunter I often just go invis and wait for health/cooldowns when I get low and can't proc devour.

I don't normally use invisibility; I mostly use Solar on my Hunter.

Utilize cover, one recuperation mod in your boots help. Just make sure you have reaper on your class item. You can also add firepower or heavy handed on your glove. And Elemental Siphon on your helm.

solar hunter gets healing nade
void hunter gets invis
arc hunter gets healing on melee kill, assassins cowl and liars handshake
strand has woven mail so you dont take as much damage
stasis gets bakris and can create cover

and you just always run better already and recuperation on legs and you heal to full on orb pickup.
