I'd still buy unique ornaments for the exotics provided they look nice enough as well.
Yep, gotta agree with that. Can't stand how some of the Exotic armor looks and how it ruins the appearance of a set.
But as has been mentioned, that is how Bungie fuels sales on some of the Exotic Ornaments. Surely you've noticed that the "optional" Exotic Ornaments usually look better than the default appearance?
An obvious example being The Assassin's Cowl, which looks hideous in its natural stat (bright blue netting), but looks quite understated with the Ornament applied.
And I agree with this. Run some good exotic and now it throws off your characters theme.
I'd give you a thumbs up, but I can't afford it.
This, and I hate the fact that premium armour ornament sets are always ruined because one part is always replaced with an exotic part that you can't change.
