I wish bungie would let us put regular armor ornaments on exotic armor; at least for me I dislike my fashion being ruined by some fugly exotic or one that just doesn't fit many looks. and yes, I know some exotics have "premium" ornaments, but they cost either silver or bright dust and often don't help much.

i agree that starfire is hideous, but lock is only my secondary. I main titan and alot of their exotics are also quite awful looking.

But then they wouldn't be able to sell ornaments for exotic armor. Be thankful that you can at least put shaders on them, exotic weapons are not so lucky.

at least a lot of our good exotics, especially in pvp, are boots so aren't as intrusive

Bungie won't do this because they think it won't earn them more money, which it will still do as exotic ornaments will always sell... Especially for anything that is in the current meta.. There's the argument that it would be confusing for pvp but that would most likely be 6v6 or comp as trials show the stuff you're opponent is wearing anyway..

Yep, gotta agree with that. Can't stand how some of the Exotic armor looks and how it ruins the appearance of a set.

But as has been mentioned, that is how Bungie fuels sales on some of the Exotic Ornaments. Surely you've noticed that the "optional" Exotic Ornaments usually look better than the default appearance?

An obvious example being The Assassin's Cowl, which looks hideous in its natural stat (bright blue netting), but looks quite understated with the Ornament applied.

At least they allow you to shader exotic armor Lol. Running the Nezarec's Sin and you can change its whole color, I know some are not as affected by shaders though.

or we could just have exotic ornaments on normal armor also and they would sell more

This, and I hate the fact that premium armour ornament sets are always ruined because one part is always replaced with an exotic part that you can't change.
