Destiny 2 not launching

Since the patch on tuesday the game won't turn on, no matter what. Other games work normally. I've tried countless thing from windows defender shinanigans, new drivers, reinstalling steam and the game to battleye stuff. Idk what to do anymore, reddit doesnt help. Im convinced that maybe it's the battleye stuff that doesnt allow the game to launch but im not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

You might try going to the following location and delete everything. Last time the game acted nuts it fixed it for me, corrupt file I think.
C:\Users\<your name on the PC>\AppData\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs

Already deleted it before then i did reinstall and its still empty. Do i create the DestinyPC folder anew?

I would also try to verify integrity of game files, typically something may go wrong during the steam game update process thus causing slight corruptions sometimes unnoticeable but sometimes it can cause major game malfunctions. And if you did a reinstall, try again but nuke the "Destiny 2" folder located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common" for a default steam install unless you put it on a secondary drive, this will make sure it is a true fresh reinstall.

i think i might be having the same issue except when i try to load a campaign mission the game immediately crashes
