Why is everyone quitting?
I've been playing comp today, around 8000, struggling to for ascendant. I've probably played about 30 matches in a row now where all but one have ended due to a forfeit, pretty much 50/50 between my team and the enemy. Almost always it's a leaver during round 1, even if it was relatively close. I've never experienced this before tonight and i'm wondering wtf is going on today specifically where nobody wants to finish a match

Destiny PvP has been ass for a long time. People don't have the patience for it. The game is supposed to be fun but PvP makes it a struggle. I don't think it justifies quitting though.

i'm still playing an hour later and like clockwork a lost round = all 3 players quitting. It's a sight to behold

As of the latest patch, people were getting suspended from Crucible/Gambit even though they never left. The temporary fix to this was to remove leaver penalties...so with no penalties, people are just quitting losing matches.

Honestly leavers should be banned from comp+trails for the rest of the season.

You guys getting this conversation backwards. There reason people leave sth if cuz they don´t feel like they need to accept what bungie is providing(bad matchmaking for x reasons). In fact, staying in a bad lobby will only piss you off(if you cares to win)and bungie is still laughing at ur face.

dude you can be up a round or 2 then loose one and they leave, hence why leavers should just be insta banned from comp+trails for leaving a match in either.

The matchmaking in this game is quite good IMO. Even if it weren't, that's no excuse to ruin the match for your former teammates. Don't be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, moron.

Ofc it isnt good when u trying to get somewhere n people leave the match but if the matchmaking wasnt bad people wouldnt leave it.
