Game is constantly causing my pc to restart
So far its only this game doing it, black screen while playing and then my PC restarts, I thought maybe something was overheating, now im turning down my Power mode to reduce power draw, but it was perfectly fine yesterday, and ive been playing games before I hopped on D2 for over an hour, only started doing this with d2.

Same thing happened to me last night, and I had to use the reset button since my PC wouldn't shutdown with the power button, and black screen+severe slowdown prevented me from shutting down with the O.S. method. I was able to continue playing for the rest of the night, and there wasn't any error messages when restarted, which usually occurs after a driver crash, such as the AMD wattman error. Weird.

Funny how nobody else but you 3 are having this issue? Sounds to me like either a driver error or a faulty Operating system.

Well if its not many people who get the exact same problem and it has not been addressed by devs either then its most likely a problem on YOUR end.
Thats the joy on playing on a pc, you never know what happens :)
Everything can go wrong with a PC, so be it faulty drivers of any kind, faulty hardware, virus, faulty peripherals. suddently non working usb ports and so on and so forth.
And yes, even a faulty mouse can make your whole pc go haywire and it can either happen with all games, some games or just a very few too

Also, there has been a report that the newest update for windows11 has caused AMD cards to not function properly.

new bios update just now for am4 cards, old settings need to be re-checked upon bios updates to ensure its still stable if overclocked or tuned ram timings.

Sounds like a overheating issue or a lack of power issue, both of which reset the computer to protect the hardware from damage, though it might be the game causing it too, making the PC think its in danger and resets itself to protect itself.

Its possible i guess.

I think it was an overheating issue, 3080 was still on default settings in geforce experience, had to wipe and reinstall a bunch of stuff from a corrupt partition, stopped doing it after it was shut off for a day.
