Did they "nerf" the "Lucky Raspberry"?
I've been using the "Lucky Raspberry" armor with my Arc Hunter. Yesterday, doing 'Warsats", I was getting grenade charges all the time. One after the other. Today, after the update... nothing. The grenade is not "insta-charging" anymore. Could it have anything to do with the issue they're having?

It got a rework. And... the rework apparently doesn't work very well.

"Lucky Raspberry: This Exotic was a little too unreliable in its current form, so we’ve taken a crack at streamlining its energy gains, while leaving some of its benefits intact. The Exotic still expands the chaining capabilities of Arc Bolt grenades. But now instead of basing the grenade energy gains on those chains, each time you damage an enemy with the lightning strikes from the jolted condition—as well as each time you pick up an ionic trace—you gain additional grenade energy. We've also given this grenade the intrinsic ability to stun Overload Champions. Now you don’t have to jolt them and then trigger the jolt lightning strikes just to stun them, making these grenades a more reliable tool against Overload Champions."

Really? Are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me? BOOOOOOOOO BUNGIE!!!! You just ruined a great piece of armor. It's no fun anymore. Why do they have to ♥♥♥♥ things up all the time.

It's their way of forcing the season artifact on you and whatever meta of the season is. If you like playing your own way with your own build and subclass, Destiny 2 is where fun goes to die.

yup im glad im not the only one who appreciated this before the change
i thought they were just adding this stuff onto the already existing effect, but they just straight up made it worse :/

youll now either have to run Tesselation/ Demolitionist or a weapon capable of ionic traces/ jolt such as iterative loop, delicate tomb, coldheart
i hate it when bungie limit your build choices- like how most solar builds require solar weapons :/

Tarnished Mettle can roll both Demo + Voltshot, so that might be the best way

only warlocks and titans are allowed to have good grenades

bungie has for years been generating artificial content by making "balance changes" to mix up the meta. There are certain things they have buffed and nerfed the same way multiple times. They know how to balance them correctly but if it was balanced then they couldn't keep making these "updates"

Yeah it's weird how they changed this. I tried it again yesterday but I'm not gonna run this anymore even, its not the same as being able to throw 3 nades in a row as it used to be. Gonna look for something else fun, that will be destroyed a week later again lol.

yup, feels really bad to use in comparison
ofc they release the moth armor piece which encourages you to play arc -_-
i think arc hunter has like 40% of the exotics somewhat tied to it at this point

its like when they changed Raiju's harness from one of the best pvp exotics to like almost Gwisin levels of dogsh*t

and they powercreep both the current Raiju's + Bakris with foetracer
