What do you think is the best Hunter exotic in Destiny history?

Pre-nerf Gyrfalcons would take the cake before it kinda got gutted with the volatile rounds nerf, but nowadays it's Assassin's Cowl. I have a build for both on my hunter and 9/10 I pick Cowl because of just how strong it is.

celestial nighthawk, raiden flux, orpheus rig that was the trio since year one until they released star eater scales, and then they start to release good armor and buff the bad one

I use Shards of Galanor, Assassin's Cowl and Graviton Forfeit. Used to use Ophidia Spathe a lot.

Stompees are most iconic not because they are the most popular, but because they are tied to the lore of the game. Marcus Ren is a hunter and the best sparrow racer to exist. He invented stompees so he can jump higher and land on his sparrow.

Makes a mid weapon on every other class in PvE amazing. I can't think of another exotic that makes a weapon feel almost class-specific. Maybe Actium War Rig, but even then there are lots of other ways around reloading.
