Unable to login to Bungie.net or companion sites with Steam

Been having issues logging into bungie.net and companion apps such as DIM using Steam authentication.

Page pops up for the authentication, but the SignIn/Approve button never activates so that it can move to next screen. Tried using different browsers, removing cookies, allow popups, turn off McAfee, etc.

Have had intermittent issues recently, where the button was slow to activate, but now it never works. Just get a message that says the page isn't responding and if I want to wait or cancel.

Browsers tried Google and Edge. Windows 10. McAfee and Windows Defender active.

Any idea what is blocking the API from approving the sign ons?

I dont think its your problem but GET RID of McAfee. Its a scam of a product and does nothing better or really different than defender. Your just wasting your computer resources.
