I dont know which dungeon key to get.

My wife surprised me with some silver to buy a key but I dont know which one to get.

I wanted the 3shot linear fusion from duality but I saw that bungie disgustingly paywalled guardian ranks by blocking progress unless you do the light fall dungeon so I dont know which one will benefit me more in the endgame content.

So at one point you want to buy into the game further and at another you're annoyed other players can't progress without buying further season pass/dlc's.
Developers want players playing content for pve and pvp, but not let everyone have guardian rank up possibility - which afaik all it does is to let you have more loadout slots and a higher level number on character? A weird distinction and somewhat a conundrum either way.
Maybe get the money back and find a godroll legendary or mod one yourself. Linear rifle with opening shot have so much range you can snipe with it.

Witch Queen dungeons are currently ONLY obtainable through silver, while the LF key will continue to go one sale through the deluxe edition. If you already have silver, get the Witch Queen one. It will also be 4-5 more months before the other LF dungeon comes out.

As far as guardian ranks go, they're all cosmetic so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

No one cares about guardian ranks unless you're rank 6 or below. Get the Witch Queen key since both of its dungeons are already released and you already have silver. The deluxe edition upgrade is a better and cheaper way of getting the Lightfall key is most cases.

Yes.
Duality has the best armor farm in the game, the linear is okay, and Spire of the Watcher has the best DPS special GL.
Currently the LF key has only 1 dungeon and that dungeon doesn't really have that much crazy stuff.

Duality has some decent legendaries: the smg and linear probably being the best, but the grenade launcher is good with the right perks and i like the pulse rifle and lmg (the lmg is reprised from season of opulence though). the exotic sword is meh. armor sets don't fit the aesthetic and have some pieces that are ok aesthetically but nothing exciting overall.
If you get a decent roll of funnelweb (or already have one) from world drops, that is more preferable to the one from this dungeon and linears just aren't as strong as they have been. still decent in certain situations, but there are loads of decent linears in the game.

Spire of the Watcher is less interesting to me and don't really care about anything from that dungeon. Unless you are into the Tex Mechanica, western aesthetic there isn't really anything exciting from that dungeon. it has some re-issues of the seventh seraph weapons (officer revolver and carbine) and those would be the only things of interest in there for me but there are easily better options for hand cannons and auto rifles anyway. the exotic bow is also pretty meh. armor follows the same western theme, so if you are into making your guardian look like a cowboy you might be into it, but isn't really for me.

The most recent dungeon probably has the most interesting weapons (the waveframe stasis grenade launcher, solar smg and the stasis rocket launcher being the most worthwhile). plus the armor sets are nice. the exotic isn't all that exciting to me, but if you are into trace rifles, i think its ok.

The LF dungeon key is probably the better buy in terms of viability of its weapons and fashion of the armor and overall fun of the dungeon, BUT the second dungeon won't be available until season 23 so the jury is out on if it will be any good or not.

Witchqueen key will get you more bang for you buck in terms of content until the new dungeon releases. Duality is a fun dungeon but the loot just isn't super exciting in the current sandbox.

if it were me and i had to choose, i'd probably just hang onto my silver until the next dungeon releases and if it ends up being a banger, then get the LF key before getting the WQ key
