If you recall the change, doing bullet damage boosts super regen. Tho i haven't paid attention to if any recent changes. I'm throwing back to back supers in nightfalls if orb's are generated. And i rarely see anyone else do that. But orb generation is the key. Anyhoo, don't like playing nades and melee all the time either.
But the take away from this should be to know the perk gains as i mentioned where some perks here does 30-60 stacks pending on armor charge etc. Which correctly then means you don't need to have high intellect, you can get the boost via armor charge perks or otherwise orb generation.
But it's all very finicky - the game could do more to explain the benefits of the perks in-game, think that would be nice for everyone. It's the same thing with range caps on ie shotguns etc.
This right here is the loser attitude. GMs and the like aren't meant to be soloed, but the ability to do so speaks to the flexibility of the games build system, and the skill of the players who do such things.
Suck it up and team up with people if you aren't good enough to do solo GMs, or go study some Esoterrick videos.
I have no idea what you're talking about. This game isn't for anyone but whales. We all keep coming back because we're obsessed with the hope this universe maybe, just MAYBE, will finally get some love and attention to its story that it's truly capable of. Instead we get rushed half assed content over and over again.
If you want challenge, destiny 2 doesn't offer it at all. Witch Queen came VERY VERY close but there's 0 challenge in things like grandmaster nightfalls solo. It's a stupid achievement that you'd see on consoles that holds absolutely no true value to the player at all. You don't feel like you achieved anything, merely that your time was wasted trying to complete something that in the end was a disappointment just like the entirety of destiny's story up until this point.
Root of Nightmare was so easy that I was genuinely taken aback by it. My group isn't full of meta slaves and we consistently finish the entirety of it with NEW players mind you, in less than an hour. This isn't dickwaving because that's slow by speedrunning standards but for casuals that is absolutely RIDICULOUS. It's inconsequential and boring. Just like the majority of Destiny's options for players who want to challenge themselves. The only options that are out there are shock and ball torture for paltry " rewards " or (quite often) literally nothing.
It's not skill to stand behind cover ( since AI target tracking is scripted so that hunter dodges don't even DODGE anymore ) and spam the 1 thing that your build is focused on. I've done it time after time and it has 0 challenge attached to it. It's a gimmick, stop selling it like it's a skill thing it isn't. Anyone can do it with a smidge of patience and obnoxiously OP gimmicks. If I see one more witherhoard in a damage phase I'm going to vomit.
In Root you need 4 people doing the mechanic in one of 4 encounters. in every other there is 2 or 3 people doing it. in a 6 man """""E N D G A M E""""" activity.
I mean, Gatekeepers and Atheon both require 4+ people to mechanically aware. But these raids are nearly a DECADE apart (technically) so they shouldn't even be comparable.
Not a GM. Need to LFG for that.
