Can you get raid exotic by just doing boss encounter?

do you need to do all encouter or only boss for exotic weapon?

Yes you can just do the boss for the exotic drop and if its the weekly featured raid, you can also farm that boss that week(this week oryx can be farmed for touch of malice).
