CRASH ON STARTUP PLEASE HELP I AM LOOSING MY MIND

So i recently just tried to start playing again as a game to play with my partner as she expressed interest in playing. but i cant get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game to launch??? It worked before as ive clocked 400+hours, so i simply dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ understand what is wrong with this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game?? I have reinstalled 2 times, and tried everything i know to do with startup issues. but the same thing persists:
Click play-
It says D2, Running-
It opens up, and starts the cycle of class logos on the load screen just before the "press enter to play" or whatever it is-
it proceeds to stay on this screen for literally an eternity, untill it eventually crashes and then i am forced to close the game via Task Manager.

I have tried clearing the game cache, clearing download cache, cycle internet power, run as admin, run in compat mode.
i am simply out of things to try.
FIX YOUR DAMN GAME PLEASE.

i would appreciate any help before i bin this game for good again.

Verify Integrity of your local game files.

Right click Destiny 2 in your Library >> Properties >> Local Files >> Verify Integrity.
Sounds like something corrupted and this should repair the file(s).

If that doesn't fix it, consider deleting/or renaming the Destiny 2 folder located in the temp folder.
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp
Look for folder name "Destiny 2"
Change folder name to something like Destiny 2_backup or delete since windows does it after a while.
If this doesn't solve it, doing a reinstall might work.

Did you find a fix for this? I'm having the same issue. Is literally the only game I play and have more the 2,000 hrs put in the game

Will do as soon as I get home.. Nothing else has worked though, don't know why I didn't try this before but I have reinstalled the game, updated drivers, modified XMP profiles, allowed all permits, etc. and nothing has changed

I have similar issue with launching the game.
The steps someone suggested dont work, Verify Integrity does nothing.
Deleting or renaming the Destiny folder at that location dont work either.
I have installed a few times, tried many fixes, nada.
Game will not launch

ok fellas. a friend and i had this issue latly.. we fixed it.. but its hard to believe.. Our issue was that we had to change back default audio settings. we both got a new monitor and somehow destiny or windows tried to use that instead of the headsets, Go into System - Sound and make sure that the default audio is your headset or audiodevice.. We got back ingame once we did this and had no more endless loading screen. I hope this helps
